                Welcome...

... to my little corner of the internet! I'm a proud nerd approaching 40 from
Sweden, passionate about the classic world of computing. I specialize in BSD
systems—FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, and DragonflyBSD—and immerse myself in their
timeless charm with the enthusiasm of a retro computing aficionado.

My interests stretch far beyond operating systems. I have an insatiable
curiosity for obscure programming languages and delight in crafting small,
quirky programs that bring forgotten languages back to life. There’s nothing
quite like the thrill of unearthing hidden gems from programming history and
translating their esoteric syntax into functional, nostalgic code.

A true adventurer at heart, I love venturing into the realm of odd operating
systems that defy convention. Whether it’s tinkering with unconventional
interfaces or experimenting with lightweight, under-the-radar platforms, each
exploration is a journey into the rich heritage of computing.

This website itself is a testament to that spirit of exploration and passion
for the vintage. It’s proudly hosted on a small Intel Atom computer running
NetBSD 10—a tiny powerhouse that embodies the fusion of efficiency, elegance,
and a taste for tradition.

Beyond my technical pursuits, I’m also a long-term player of the MUD called
Discworld—a community I’ve been a part of since January 2001. This immersive
world of text-based adventures has been a source of endless creativity and
camaraderie, enriching my love for classic digital interactions and enduring
storytelling.

So step into my world of retro technology, obscure code, and digital
adventures. Whether through the nostalgic realms of vintage computing, the
creative exploration of obscure programming, or the immersive adventures
in Discworld, join me on a journey that celebrates the storied legacy of
computing and the timeless joy of discovery. Enjoy your stay!
